Classroom Friendly Pencil Sharpener Review

Hey All!

These pictures makes me go, “Noooooooo!”

So my students have been driving me a little crazy lately with the pencil sharpener. We have an electric one that is very good – I have had it for at least 4 years and I have repaired it probably 6 times myself, but it is so noisy and disruptive and it seems everyone has to get up in the middle of a time when everyone is working and sharpen. Kids have also started bringing in their own electric (battery powered) desktop sharpeners, which again is ok, but then kids that do not have them are coming over to those who do in the middle of class to sharpen. The ones who have them are sweet and let the others use them but then everyone is off task.

I was remembering the Classroom Friendly Supplies sharpener and decided even though I brought mine home at some point and lost it 🙁 that I ought to at least share how great it was with you. I am also planning a big giveaway soon and hope to have one to be part of the giveaway.
Look around the internet and you will find many people raving about this sharpener. Of course you can’t make everyone happy – the last time I was able to give away I had lots of great feedback and only one negative comment. The sharpener is manual, but it is very quiet. It is sturdy and dependable. The owner of the company happy replaced my blade for free after it stopped working and I tried to clean it as directed wiha video on his site. It sharpened pencils to  long sturdy points, does colored pencils very well too and has a handy auto stop.
I also noticed they have a new, large opening version – great for those of you who work with younger students who use the thicker pencils.

Here is a little video I found at their website
Head over and take  a look for yourself by clicking any of the links of clicking their logo below.
By the way, I did not receive an sharpener for free for this post – I did win one once in another blogger’s giveaway but since misplaced it. Boohoo!
