Google Cardboard

Remember the old school Viewfinders? Well Google Cardboard is like that on steroids!

20 Questions

20 questions is a fun strategy to incorporate especially if you have 4-5 minutes to spare, like when you are waiting in the hall, or you have 5 minutes before recess.

Start with “I’m thinking of a place”. And students can hopefully narrow it down with questions like “Are you a continent?” “Are you a river?” “Do you border Mexico?” and narrow it down before they get to 20 questions!

This first one is FUNNY and a HUGE hit with my second graders, Fyi!

Use a Ready to Go Resource

If you just want a ready to go, print and use resource, the World Geography and Mapping Resource from TPT might be it! Click here or any image below to take action and save lesson planning time! Plus it will be ON SALE the week of July 16th! Yahoo!

If you want to know what teachers who have used it have said:

What an amazing resource. My kids really enjoyed it and the format was good for them. “

Very nice product! Simple, direct, can’t wait to put it to use! I like that there isn’t fluff to distract from the context! Thank you. “
