I love working on antonyms, synonyms, and homophones. I am always looking for new ways to teach them. In my classroom I have this fun book: Stop and Go, Yes and No: What is an Antonym by Bryan Cleary. It is a fun jumping off point.
Of course, once he realized these books were going to be a hit he came out with these terrific books about synonyms and homophones.

I also realized this cute book from my childhood could be worked into an antonym lesson! They are also the same Fred and Ted who are in Big Dog, Little Dog and Fred and Ted Take a Road Trip.
